ANARDAANA KOFTA CURRY

Ingredients :
For Koftas :
Boiled Potatoes : 3 medium sized
Corn Flour : 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Pomogranate Kernels : 2-3 tbsp
Oil for deep frying
For Gravy :
Onion : 1 large
Tomato Puree : 5 tbsp
Corn Flour Slurry : 2 tbsp
Green Chilly : half
Pomogranate juice : 50 ml
Cream : 3 tbsp
Curd : 2 tbsp
Garam Masala : 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil : 2 tbsp


Method :
1.       Mash the boiled potatoes , mix salt and cornflour to make a tight dough .

2.       Make small balls , flatten each ball and stuff pomegranate kernels on these and seal well.

3.       Deep Fry these balls in medium hot oil on medium flame .Koftas are ready .

4.       For the gravy , chop the onions , and boil them along with green chilly .

5.       Allow to cool and make a paste in mixer grinder .
6.       Heat oil in a pan , add onion paste ,salt , garam masala and after 3-4 mins , add tomato puree.

7.       Mix pomegranate juice , curd and cream very well .Pour  this mixture in pan and keep stirring .Add corn flour slurry , this will thicken the gravy . If you wish , cashew paste can be added instead of cornflour slurry.

8.       The gravy will be done in around 5 mins on low flame .
9.       In a serving dish , put some gravy , then put koftas and again some gravy .
10.   Garnish with fresh pomegranate kernels and coriander leaves and serve .
