CHOCOLATE SAMOSA

Ingredients :


For the dough

Refined Flour : 50 gms
Fennel (Saunf) : half tsp
Ghee : 1 tsp
Water : as needed

Stuffing : small cubes of dark chocolate .

Oil for brushing

For the sugar syrup :

50 gms : sugar
Water to cover sugar
Saffron : 5 -6 strands


Method :

1. Mix flour , saunf and ghee well . Add water to make a semi soft dough .Keep aside for 20 mins.
2.Roll the dough round . Cut from the middle into two parts .
3. Now fold both the halfs in the shape of samosa .
4. Stuff with chocolate cube and seal well .
5. Brish with oil and bake at 180 degrees C for 10 - 15 mins in preheated oven .
6. For the sugar syrup , cover sugar with water in a pan and cook .When the sugar dissolves completely add saffron strands .Cook for 2 mins and remove from flame .
7. Dip the samosa in the syrup and take out in 30 secs.
8.Serve  .



Note :

1. If you wish , you can avoid the syrup process . Can just relish the baked chocolate samosas .
2. These are mini samosa , not samsosa of regular size , so just one cube of chocolate is enough for stuffing .
