PALAK PANEER PARAT PARATHA

Ingredients :

Spinach : 100 gms
Paneer : 50 gms
Finely chopped onions : 1 tbsp
Green Chilly to taste
Salt to taste
Oil/ Ghee for shallow frying
Wheat flour : 1half cup

Method :

1. Blanch spinach in its own water as we have done in last recipe .

2. Puree it adding little green chilly.
3. Mix spinach puree with wheat flour , add little salt to make a dough , if needed add water .


4. For the stuffing , mash paneer , add onions and  salt .

5. Make thick  balls of the dough , roll it,apply oil on it  and cut vertical and horizontal strips to get small pieces of the rolled dough.



6. place  one piece then stuffing , other piece and stuffing and so on to make  a tower. Top and bottom should be of dough not stuffing.

7. With the help of your palm , press this tower to get a thick flat structure . Roll it again and roast on griddle applying ghee or oil on both sides ....As the name (parat paratha ) suggest , various layers can be seen on this paratha and these layers can be felt while eating this .







Note : Many combinations of  dough and stuffing can be done on this rolling technique .
