Ingredients :
Black urad dal : 100 gms
Rajma : 50 gms
Curd : 3 tbsp
Cream : 3 tbsp
Tomato Puree : 3 tbsp
Cumin Seeds : 1 tsp
Finely chopped garlic : 1 tbsp
Butter : 3tbsp
Garam Masala : 1tsp
Turmeric Powder : a pinch
Green Chilly : 1 no , cut into 4 long strips
Salt to taste
Method :
1. Overnight soak Rajma and dal together .
2. Boil this dal and rajma mix with salt and turmeric powder .( Pressure Cook till soft)
3. When the pressure settles down , coarsely mash the dal mixture and add cream and curd and keep on low flame for 10 mins .
4. For tempering , heat butter in a pan , add jeera , garlic, green chilly and tomato puree ., saute for 3-4 mins on medium flame and add this to dal mixture . Add some water and again simmer for 5 - 6 mins on low flame .
5. Add garam masala before serving and mix well .
6. Serve hot with jeera rice , laccha paratha and papad . Top the dal with some butter .
