MEXICAN TACOZ


Ingredents:

For Tacoz:

Maize Flour ( Makke ka atta): 1 cup
All Purpose Flour (maida) : half cup
Salt to taste
Oil :1tbsp
Oil for deep frying

For Filling :

Kidney Beans ( Rajma ) : half cup
Finely chopped onions : 4 tbsp
 Tomato Ketchup : 4tbsp
Soya sauce : 1tsp
Green Chilly sauce : 1tbsp
Salt to taste
Butter : 2 tbsp
Garam Masala : 1tsp

Method

1. Mix maida , maize flour , oil and salt  very well . Make dough using water .Allow the dough to rest for half an hour .
2. Make small balls and roll it like puris .Prick pooris with a folk

3. Deep fry in medium hot oil on medium flame shaping it like tacozs , Hold both the sides with the help of a tong to give the shape .



Filling ;
1.Overnight soak rajmas in water and pressure cook for 10 - 12 whistles or till soft.Add salt while boiling .
2. Allow the rajmas to cool .Coarsely crush rajmas with your hands.
3. Heat a pan , add butter , onions , salt and garam masala . When the onions becomes transparent add rajmas and all sauces and half cup of water .Cook covered for 5 mins on low flame so that a thick gravy is formed .


Serving :

1.Put tacoz in a plate , stuff with rajma and garnish with grated cheese ( proceesed cheese ).
2. For Indian style tadka , fill tacoz with rajma , then garnish with tamarind chutney , green chutney , curd , sev , onions and pomogranate kernels

Note : Turn the puris one or twice in oil before shaping it so that it becomes little firm , directly  you cannot shape , it will break .
