KHAMAN DHOKLA

Ingredients:
Gram flour (Besan): 1 cup
Citric Acid: 1tsp
Soda bi carb:1 tsp
Sugar : 2tsp
Salt : 1tsp
Water : 1 cup

For tadka:
Oil : 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds: 1tsp
Cumin Seeds(jeera): half tsp
Curry leaves and green chllies
Sugar: half tbsp
Water : half cup

Method:
1. Mix all dry ingredients well in a bowl so that there are no lumps.
2. Add water and mix lightly.

3. Grease an aluminium dish and pour the batter in it.
4. Place this dish in a preheated steamer for 12 to 15 mins. on medim flame till its done
5. Remove from steamer and allow to cool for 5 mins.


6. Take out the prepared spongy dhokla on a plate upside down so that the porous part comes up.
7. Cut these into diamond shape with the help of a knife.

Tadka
Heat oil ,add mustard seeds ,once the seeds splutter , add jeera , curry leaves long green chillies ,then water
add sugar .....allow to boil for 2 mins.....pour this syrup over dhokla slowly , so that it completely absorbs
water .



Note:
1. For perfect result,measurements should be accurate.
2.Cups and spoons used here are the once used for baking
3. tsp means teaspoon and tbspn means table spoon.
